Big apple bagels always goes above and beyond what the other bagel places do. I miss the fact that there aren't any of these stores where I live now. But when I am on the east side for the morning, I always make sure to stop by. Their muffins are to die for, their selection of cream cheese is awesome, and I would personally recommend the cheddar jalapeño cream cheese. It has just a touch of a kick, but also compliments the bagels well. Their gourmet muffins are always a delightful treat as well, sticking with the cheesecake variety, they all are amazing and really hit the spot for a tasty treat. Great job big apple bagels!!! Keep up the awesome work!

I love their bagels all of their cheese bagels are so addicting. Converting your bagel into your favorite breakfast sandwich is another thing that makes this place amazing.although I wish it was open later in the afternoon because some people still eat breakfast for dinner.

So- this is NOT a BIG APPLE Bagel. The bagels in NY/New Jersey are distinct due to the water. NYC Bagels do not have Cornmeal on the bottom like these. I was also with a Native New Yorker (not from Brooklyn- a true New Yorker) to confirm my findings. With that said, I'm still a fan of anything that is a good Carb. This place opens at 5am and there is no real line during the commuting hours. Please beware that service is sooooooo slow. I had a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Cream Cheese (don't get the Fat Free stuff). If you really need Fat Free cream cheese, you probably shouldn't be eating a bagel. In addition, I got to try one of their many Bagel Breakfast Sandwiches (simple BLT and a Egg). This place is very reasonably priced at around 3 dollars. I will be back, but this is no BIG APPLE BAGEL. I'll called them my Michigan Bagel from now on.

Bagels are good but not worth the wait! 40 minutes to get 4 bagel sandwiches...save time and probably money and drive to Panera. This place is a joke for a business, it seemed as if I inconvenienced them by coming in. If I could give them zero stars I would. They are completely clueless and have no idea what they are doing it seemed.

Have eaten good bagels in NYC for the past 6+ years. These bagels are good but not perfect. The outside is not hard enough and they are too thick. Some of the bagels are comically thick actually. Maybe Big Apple Bagels doesn't boil their bagels properly. Important note: there are tons of bad bagels to be had in NYC. Big Apple Bagels could definitely survive as a Tier 2 bagel seller in NYC. They're just not perfect!

Dear Big Apple Bagels, First, let me say, I really admire what you're doing. Making good bagels outside of NYC seems to be something that very few people have mastered, and you're doing a great job. But for the love of god, please stop putting so much salt on your everything bagels! It takes away from the flavor of everything else, and makes my sandwich go from a joy to eat to mildly painful to chew. I repeat: There is NO need for so much salt. Yours truly, A native New Yorker

My husband and I stopped at Apple Bagels on our way home from a bike ride Memorial Day to discover the store was closing in 15 minutes. As we were standing by the door with our bikes looking at the sign we were greeted by a employee inviting us in and told us not to worry about them closing soon. We had the best service that I have received in a long time by the young man working at the store and a middle age lady (said it was her husbands 49th birthday) that waited on us. They were both so polite, friendly and helpful. When we received our food they told us not to rush because even though they would be closing the doors soon they would be there preparing to close for probably a hour. I was so impressed by their great attitudes and how hard they both worked together cleaning up and preparing the store to close. Sandwiches were also delicious but the employees are what will bring me back!

Bagels are amazing. Just like NYC bagels. Chewy and tasty, not the dry, hard rocks you often find around here. Why did I give this place 2 stars? S. L. O. W. This place is only open in the morning, until mid-afternoon. You think they would cater to a I'm-in-a-hurry-on-my-way-to-work crowd...and they do, but the service is too slow to be able to get in and out quickly. I don't understand why they do have the cashiers toasting bagels or slicing them to help the person out in the back. Everyone ends up waiting on one person. 2 people in front of me and today I waited almost 10 min. Again, the bagels are amazing! Asiago Melt KILLS panera's asiago cheese bagel, but the service really needs to speed up, or find a different way to be able to get people in and out quicker.

I was recently contacted by the owner of this Big Apple. I am still disturbed that the manager on duty at the time of our issue did not know how to handle the situation. But I was happy to get a response from the owner and we exchanged some lengthy messages as she really seemed to want to understand the issue. Kudos to her for that.

I live in Madison Heights and was out this way for an event- I was starving and searching for an Einstein's. I'm very glad I didn't find one because I feel like I now know what bagels are supposed to taste like. VERY tasty.
